# Business360 3.3 — Signature

Signature now covers the directory homepage, discovery/search, category index, category pages, geographic pages, business profiles, submissions, and 404 pages.

## Activate

1. In WordPress, upload `business360-v3_3.zip` through **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**, and replace the existing Business360 version.
2. In Business360’s **Templates** tab, activate **Signature**. If Signature is already active, the new design appears automatically.
3. Choose a **Design Preset** for the site’s niche. Applying a preset while Signature is active keeps the Signature layout.
4. Your WordPress site title, custom logo, assigned primary menu, existing listings, categories, and locations supply the content. Add real business photos as featured images when available.

The package does not switch the active pack or rewrite existing listing content on installation.

## What changed

- A complete, consistent directory shell with an editorial homepage, prominent search, category browsing, location links, and business cards.
- Sixteen design presets: Health, Legal, Business & Finance, Home Services, Auto, Wellness & Beauty, Pets, Education & Events, Recreation & Seasonal, Retail & Shopping, Gaming & Casino, General, Dining & Restaurants, Travel & Hospitality, Real Estate, and Technology & Digital.
- Search results rendered by WordPress, with keyword, category, city, minimum rating, sort, and pagination parameters in shareable URLs. “Recently added” also includes businesses without ratings.
- Profiles with a compact identity, optional real photo, understated monogram fallback, overview, sampled reviews, topic mentions, hours, location, FAQs, and related businesses.
- A desktop contact sidebar and fixed mobile call/directions actions. The mobile overview comes before the sidebar.
- Saved places in the visitor’s browser, a saved collection dialog, native sharing/copy link, section navigation, expandable reviews, and native FAQ disclosures.
- A matching submission form. Submissions become drafts for review; premium options appear when prices are explicitly configured. This form does not take payments. Submissions do not automatically claim a listing.
- A bundled, locally served Inter font under the SIL Open Font License. Existing font choices for other presets continue through the existing typography settings.
- Keyboard focus styles, native dialogs, labelled controls, reduced-motion support, and usable search/reviews/contact links without JavaScript.

## Site integration

Signature supplies its own header and footer on the directory pages it owns, while retaining `wp_head()`, `wp_body_open()`, and `wp_footer()`. It reads your custom logo and assigned `primary` navigation menu. Without an assigned menu, it uses Discover, Categories, and For businesses. Other themes’ header/footer widgets are not imported into this shell.

For a theme whose menu location has another name:

```php
add_filter('gw360_signature_menu_location', function () {
    return 'your_menu_location';
});
```

Custom homepage titles, subtitles and background photos continue to come from the existing hero settings. Category descriptions remain visible on their first results page. The existing “Hide template FAQ” option is respected.

## Data and behaviour

- Ratings, counts, contact information, and opening hours come from stored listing data. No ratings, verification badges, booking availability, or business photography are manufactured by the design.
- “Claimed” uses the existing claim state; it is not a credentials verification badge. Callback and claim requests retain the existing lead workflow.
- Topic counts use the imported review sample. The star rating of a whole review is not interpreted as the sentiment of each topic it mentions.
- Open/closed status uses the existing directory time zone calculation. Multi-time-zone directories should confirm that their hours data and time-zone configuration suit their locations.
- Saved places are local to each browser, with a 100-place limit; no account or cross-device sync is implied.
- Calls, business websites, and directions are ordinary links. The map embed depends on Google Maps. Third-party map availability was not part of offline layout validation.
- New business submissions are listed as drafts in WordPress. Their contact email is stored privately as `_gw360_submission_email`; no new email notification system is added.

## Preview note

The supplied screenshots show these actual PHP templates rendered in an isolated WordPress installation. They use clearly labelled fictional sample businesses and reviews. Preview-only businesses, images, and test helpers are excluded from the installable plugin.
